New M365 Copilot Capabilities for GCC, GCCH and DoD Clouds

Microsoft 365 Copilot has gained several major new capabilities across the GCC, GCC High, and DoD clouds.

• GPT-5.6: The latest model is now available across all government cloud environments.
• Memory and personalization: Microsoft 365 Copilot does not learn from a customer’s data, but these capabilities let it tailor experiences to each user.
• Edit with Copilot in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint: Copilot can now work alongside users in government cloud apps, making inline changes and helping refine sections or update content throughout a document.
• Expanded Copilot Chat basic with Outlook: Users without a Microsoft 365 Copilot add-on license can now use information from their email, calendars, and meetings.
• Updated Copilot Notebooks.
• Refreshed Copilot app.

M365 G7 Available in GCC on Oct 1

There was a big announcement this week.  M365 G7 will be available in the Microsoft GCC cloud starting October 1st 2027.  This is super exciting as this builds on top of M365 G5 with M365 Copilot, Agent 365, Entra Suite, and advanced Defender, Intune and Purview capabilities to securely deliver all AI platforms to an organization.
